My approach and how I work

My approach

Mind and Body Connection

Mind and Body Connection

In my practice I integrate range of humanistic approaches including Person-Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis theories and methods. Because we are all different, by drawing on these approaches, I can adapt the therapy to meet your individual needs.

My approach is grounded in respect and empathy which creates a non-judgmental, safe space where you can feel truly accepted exactly as you are.

My aim is to support you in discovering your own answers and inner resources rather than giving you advice. I see you as someone with the capacity to heal, grow and thrive rather than a problem to be fixed.

Mind and Body Connection

As a counsellor who practices yoga, I believe that nurturing the mind and body connection allows us to better understand our intuition and uncover our authentic self.

This holistic approach allows us to explore our experiences more deeply and develop a stronger sense of clarity and self-awareness. Helping us to provide empathy, compassion and self-care for ourselves.

Collabrative Work

The relationship between the client and therapist is unique. The therapy room is your safe space, and you decide what you want to work on.

Therapy is a collaborative process and trusting relationship between us is essential to the therapeutic process. I bring my genuine warmth and my authentic self to our sessions, as a human being not just as a professional where we can work together in a safe and compassionate environment that you feel seen, heard and understood.

I also enjoy bringing creativity into therapy and continue to build on my skills with ongoing training. Clients have the option to explore these creative approaches if they feel it might be helpful for them.
